H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-2B, and TN visas, filed by one team in association with US immigration counsel, with the PERM and EB green-card case planned from the day the petition is filed. We pick the visa your role fits and the one your permanent case needs.
In association with

The H-1B is capped and lottery-selected; L-1, O-1, and TN are uncapped and move on their own timelines. Every one can anchor a PERM-based green-card case, so we plan the work visa and the permanent case together rather than in sequence.

Every visa below can anchor a PERM-based green-card case. Each has its own cap, sponsor rule, and timeline, and each deserves a read of the current forms and fees before it is filed.
The classic professional visa for roles needing a bachelor degree or higher. It is capped at 85,000 a year and selected by a beneficiary-centric lottery, so each worker gets one entry regardless of how many employers register them. We time the registration and build the petition for the October start.
An uncapped visa for moves within a multinational group: L-1A for managers and executives (up to 7 years), L-1B for specialised-knowledge staff (up to 5 years). It skips the lottery entirely, with a qualifying employer and a year of overseas service.
An uncapped visa for individuals of extraordinary ability, used increasingly as an H-1B alternative for highly documented professionals. It needs a strong record of distinction and an advisory opinion, which we assemble with the supporting evidence.
A visa for Canadian and Mexican professionals in listed USMCA occupations, with no cap and no lottery, renewable in 3-year increments. It is faster than the H-1B when the role qualifies, though USMCA itself is under periodic review.
A capped visa (66,000 a year, with supplemental visas in some years) for temporary non-agricultural workers in seasonal or peak-load roles. It needs an employer and a labour certification, and the supplemental allocations shift, so we track the window.

For specialty occupations under the annual cap. We run a multi-year lottery strategy, weigh cap-exempt employers, and file the petition the moment a selection lands.

For those who qualify, the uncapped visas skip the lottery and move on their own timelines. We confirm the qualifying relationship, the documentation, or the USMCA occupation first.
Your role mapped to the right visa, capped versus uncapped weighed, and the lottery registration or direct petition timed to the season.
The I-129 filed on the current form, with premium processing where it helps, and consular processing or change of status chosen for your location.
Extensions filed, status maintained, time abroad recaptured, and dependent H-4 or L-2 applications with their work authorisation handled together.
The PERM labour certification started early, the I-140 filed to lock the priority date, and the I-485 filed when the visa bulletin is current, on one case file.

Selection is beneficiary-centric: since the recent reform each worker gets a single lottery entry regardless of how many employers register them. The annual cap is 85,000, made up of 65,000 general plus 20,000 with a US master degree or higher. Employers register in March for selections that usually start in October, and there is a registration fee per beneficiary.
Yes. Cap-exempt employers, such as universities and non-profit research institutions, can file outside the cap, and the uncapped L-1, O-1, and TN visas skip the lottery entirely for those who qualify. We map your eligibility across all of them before committing to a capped filing.
Often. An H-4 spouse may be authorised to work where the H-1B holder has an approved I-140 or qualifies for certain extensions, and an L-2 spouse is authorised to work. We file the dependent visa and the work-authorisation application together so the family can work on arrival.
Most can. The H-1B, L-1, and O-1 commonly anchor a PERM-based EB green-card case. We start the PERM labour certification early so the priority date locks in, file the I-140, and then the I-485 adjustment when the visa bulletin is current, running the work file and the green-card file in parallel.
A USMCA work visa for Canadian and Mexican professionals in listed occupations, with no cap and no lottery, renewable in 3-year increments. It is generally faster than the H-1B when the role qualifies, though the USMCA agreement itself is under periodic review, so we confirm the role is on the current list.
The 2024 fee rule raised the H-1B registration fee, the I-129 petition fee, and premium processing, the I-129 form was revised in early 2025 alongside the H-1B and H-2 modernisation rules, and a related rule takes effect in early 2026. The category rules themselves remain. We file under the current forms and fees and confirm them before each petition.
